Sales Manager - West Region
The Foreign Candy Company, Inc., Hull, Iowa, has an immediate opening for an experienced Regional
sales Manager to cover the Western U.S. Region who demonstrates strong sales leadership qualities.

The Western Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing programs to
achieve sales objectives for all accounts within the established region.  This individual will maintain
regular contact through consistent travel to customer headquarters and individual retail outlets.  Key
objectives of this position are as follows:

  • Strong ability and experience in growing brand placement by securing everyday planogram
    distribution.
  • Work closely with marketing functions to execute marketing and sales strategies aimed at
    delivering increased market share in our chosen markets.
  • Responsible for building strategic long-term customer relationships with brokers, local
    customers, and regional customers as well as key accounts.
  • Responsible for setting objectives and developing strategies with brokers, gain buy-in to plans
    and lead the brokers to achieve goals.

The ideal Western Regional Sales Manager must be highly enthusiastic and results driven with lots of
energy towards performance.  Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to effectively analyze
detailed materials are essential.  The successful candidate will have 10+ years of proven sales leadership
experience and must have achieved significant year- on- year growth in a sales role with confectionery
or food experience being preferred.
